The Agricultural Business Council of Kansas City is pleased to again be holding the November monthly meeting in conjunction with the Agriculture Future of America's annual Leaders Conference at the Sheraton Crown Center. This outstanding event, now in its 19th year, accepts over 600 of the nation’s top college-age agricultural leaders from over 30 states and 90 colleges and universities.
The featured speaker at the breakfast meeting will be Vance Crowe, Director of Millennial Engagement, Monsanto Co. Vance describes his role with the company is to help them adapt to a new way of thinking that is in line with the changes that will inevitably come as the next generation hits a critical mass.
Vance is a former Communications Strategist for the World Bank Group, a returned U.S. Peace Corps Volunteer stationed in Kenya, a former communications coordinator at a National Public Radio (NPR) affiliate in Northern California, and was a deckhand on an eco-tourism ship that traveled in the Western Hemisphere. Vance holds an undergraduate degree in communications from Marquette University and a Master's Degree in Cross-Cultural Negotiations from the Seton Hall School of Diplomacy.
