Animal Health Summit Promoting Limitless Opportunities
/KC Animal Health Corridor’s 2024 Animal Health Summit gets underway on August 26 at The Midland Theatre in Kansas City. Registration for annual two-day event is now open. The theme of this year’s event is Boundless, aimed at offering attendees limitless opportunities for networking, education from panel discussions, as well as first looks at innovations in the animal health space.
A popular feature of the Summit’s program involves Emerging Company Presentations that allow early-stage companies to introduce their innovations. The event also includes presentations on industry trends, challenges and opportunities in the companion animal and livestock industries. Other Summit items on the agenda are updates on animal healthcare, nutrition, diagnostics and technology. The Summit will discuss how meat consumers define sustainability, veterinary care and advanced animal therapies.
Additionally, the Summit offers one-to-one business partnering, providing attendees with the opportunity to pre-schedule quick meetings to foster connections. The KC Animal Health Corridor will also recognize Craig S. Wallace, owner and founder of C.S. Wallace Investments + Strategy, with its 2024 Iron Paw Award.

The LIVE Leader’s Circle provides attendees an intimate and interactive experience with some of the world’s greatest minds in animal health, nutrition, technology and investment leadership. These leaders will be discussing the industry’s most pressing topics.
Emerging Company Presentations offer a look at the future of animal health, as innovative early-stage companies showcase breakthroughs in companion animal health, AgTech and food animal production. Presentations will cover everything from pharmaceuticals, vaccines, nutrition, diagnostics and technology. This segment of the Summit program over the years has allowed emerging companies to raise over half a billion dollars and many startups have secured licensing agreements, distribution contracts or have even been acquired.
The 1:1 Business Partnering program is a fundamental activity of the Animal Health Summit. It allows attendees the opportunity to arrange and pre-schedule 20-minute meetings with innovative early-stage companies to develop connections and networking.
