April Luncheon & University of Missouri Showcase

The Agricultural Business Council of Kansas City and University of Missouri College of Agriculture, Food & Natural Resources invite you to join us on Thursday, April 10, for a luncheon meeting highlighting the University of Missouri and its impact on the state, region, nation and world.

Featured speakers will include the new Dean of the MU College of Vet Medicine, Dr. Sri Sreevatsan and Vice Chancellor & Dean of the College of Agriculture, Food & Natural Resources, Dr. Chris Daubert.


Dr. Sri Sreevatsan

Dr. Sri Sreevatsan is the Dean of the MU College of Veterinary Medicine, starting August 1. He previously served as Associate Dean for Research and Professor at Michigan State University and led graduate studies at the University of Minnesota.

Author of nearly 200 publications, Dr. Sreevatsan holds leadership roles in veterinary and agricultural organizations and is a member of the American Society for Microbiology and AAAS. He earned veterinary degrees in Bangalore and a doctorate and MPH from the University of Minnesota.


Dr. Chris Daubert

Dr. Chris Daubert is Vice Chancellor and Dean of the College of Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources at the University of Missouri and Professor of Food Science and Engineering. Previously, he led the Department of Food, Bioprocessing and Nutrition Sciences at North Carolina State University.

A fellow of the Institute of Food Technologists (IFT) and its incoming president, Daubert is a leading researcher in food rheology and serves on the board of trustees for the Council for Agricultural Science and Technology (CAST). He earned his Ph.D. from Michigan State University and has received distinguished alumnus honors from Penn State and Michigan State.

Cancellations must be submitted by email at least 7 days prior to the scheduled event. No refunds or credits will be provided within 7 days of the event. This policy applies to all circumstances including illness. Registrations are transferable - please email to make arrangements for substitution in advance.
