Mike Seyfert has served as President and CEO of the National Grain and Feed Association since March 2021. Immediately prior to joining NGFA, he served seven years with FMC Corporation as the Director of Government and Industry Affairs North America. Prior to FMC he served 16 years working on Capitol Hill for former U.S. Senator Pat Roberts, including serving two years as the Staff Director of the U.S. Senate Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition and Forestry.
Mike is a graduate of Kansas State University and The George Washington University. He was the fourth generation raised on his family farm in Kansas. He and his wife, Christy Seyfert, maintain an active interest in the farm today with crops including hay, soybeans, sorghum, and wheat. Christy serves as the Executive Director of Government Affairs for the American Soybean Association in Washington, DC. They have two daughters, Sydney and Madison.
