USDA Deputy Secretary Stephen Censky will be our featured speaker for breakfast on Friday, November 2. Many Council members will be familiar with Steve from his 20-plus years at the helm of the American Soybean Association. He was sworn-in to his position as the number two official at USDA just over a year ago.

We look forward to the Deputy Secretary’s comments on current issues. We expect that will include a update on the farm bill progress, the trade dispute with China and implementation of the new trade agreement with Canada and Mexico, just to list the more pressing items.

The Agricultural Business Council of Kansas City is pleased to again be holding the November monthly meeting in conjunction with the Agriculture Future of America's annual Leaders Conference at the Sheraton Crown Center. This outstanding event, now in its 22nd year, accepts over 800 of the nation's top college-age agricultural leaders from over 43 states and 90 colleges and universities.
