Shook, Hardy & Bacon has graciously offered to host the Agricultural Business Council of Kansas City in January, for what has become a traditional legal update for the Council.  This year's session will be held January 19, 2017 at the Shook, Hardy & Bacon offices at 2555 Grand Boulevard in Kansas City.

Shook’s Annual Legal Update will feature a keynote presentation by its D.C.-based Public Policy Partner Mark Behrens about potential legal reform to federal, Kansas and Missouri laws governing civil lawsuits and the potential effect of passage of new legislation on businesses, including agribusinesses. Other Shook lawyers will touch briefly on potential emerging topics under a new administration, including EPA, FDA, employment and trade issues.
