About Us
The Agricultural Business Council of Kansas City is an association that advocates growth and awareness of the food, fiber, agri-science and related industries in the Kansas City region.
Established in late 2003, the Council's mission is to enhance greater understanding about this important industry by joining together Kansas and Missouri agricultural organizations, agribusinesses and other key leaders. This alliance includes more than 700 individuals, businesses and organizations associated with the extensive agricultural and food industry.
The Council has proved to be a success as a networking opportunity and a forum to hear from government officials and industry executives. The Council also seeks to be an advocate for agriculture and agricultural economic growth in this region.
Council members include agricultural producers, producer group representatives, agribusiness, communications, legal, financial, education, farm equipment, natural resources, animal health, energy, food processing, crop input, state government agencies, biofuels, software technology, and others with an interest in agriculture.
